Hope everyone is doing well and coping ok with their new/old injury. I was just wanting to ask people with older fractures if they’ve had any issues with blocked arteries as a result of the break/surgery?
Apparently my anterior tibial artery has no blood flow and other arteries are compensating. All other arteries in that leg are fine. I broke my tibia and had an IM rod and three screws placed. The screws in my ankle were removed 2 years ago.
Would really appreciate hearing anyone else’s experience with this (if they have one) and to know what you did? Did you consult a vascular surgeon? Which is what was recommended to me.
Thanks for reading.
