Had a terrible day today. My son had his immunisation needles and fainted, hitting his head on the hard ground. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he was checked out by a Doctor and cleared of anything serious (just a huge tennis ball sized bump on the back of his head). I was such a terrible scare though!
Anyway, back to me. I had a CT scan of my ankle this afternoon, as I have an appointment with the OS in a week and if the bone is healed (at the plafond - the bottom of the tibia) then he wants to take the front plate out. I also had x-rays taken of my knee, as it is still sore from the car accident and I still can't kneel on it.
I have been unable to walk at all on my ankle today, as I think I have done some damage when I tried to hobble quickly through the hospital emergency department without a crutch when my son was taken in this morning. It is so very very painful, so lots of ice and elevation over the next day is called for.
