Hi Sarah:) I live in Colorado, where the sun shines almost constantly. Don't laugh, but I miss rain like you would not believe. Rainy days, candles, a good book. I love that. Because the weather is always lovely, there is a tremendous amount of guilt if I don't go outside and do something .I miss the ocean and strong wet winds that blow rain in your face. I love London because of the cloudy days. My favorite shop there is Marks snd Spencer and the yummy tea and scones I cram my suitcase with when I come to visit. I will have a cuppa Marks and Sparks tea for you and send you healing thoughts. The third week is so hard, and the leg is in no way healed. It gets better,it gets better. Just keep remembering that. Once the doctor tells you to do partial weight bearing, the time no longer crawls because it takes so much thought to remember how to walk again. Do you have some really time consuming trashy books, or a great video game? Anything to get your mind off the minutes. Sorry about the driving restrictions. Did you try the ace wrap under the boot? I am exactly 8 weeks out ( doing full weight bearing and PT), and I get exhausted too. Guess our bodies are trying to heal. Or could be all the biscuits I'm eating, hmmmmm. Thinking of you and sending you thougnts of sunshine and healing. Oh, and the fantasy of winging the Darth Vader boot at the gawper?Fantastic! LOL! Some people were so kind, and some people were so impatient with me. I liked the folks who came up and told me they hed experienced a broken leg too. They always had good tips....living in Colorado with skiing, there are a lot of fellow broken buddies
