OS appt today. Out of the Darth and into an ankle stabilizer. No more sleeping with the Darth. Yippeee! No more elevating at night. WhooHooo! I can wear my regular shoe. Start loosing the crutches. He said I should not need crutches by end of week. I need to continue PT. The scar tissue where I had surgery needs to stretch so my ankle will regain full ROM. He told me to keep massaging the ankle to get the scar tissue to stretch. Now I need to convince my PT to let me go without the crutches. They seem to be a little more cautious then my OS. So on to PT tomorrow and more stretching and massaging.
