I took my kids sliding on valentines day and slipped on the ice. Broke my tib/fib and ankle. I had surgery within hours, had a rod and pins to put things back in place. Out of the whole experience the ambulance was the worst as the had to straighten out the leg to slint it and strap it in place...without meds...ouch...I don't ever want to go through this again...I go in two days to have my staples out and xray...hoping it goes well
